Beyond

Well, I now ask myself what’s ahead! I just intend to keep singing for any occasion I can until my voice lasts. In fact that’s what I told an old friend of mine the choir director at the parish after one Christmas concert a few years ago. By the way he always used to invite me to sing a couple of solo pieces of my choice every Christmas including a couple of Carols in Maltese which I presented on Christmas 2017. These we used to sing, with others, as children in our Hamrun Malta parish, so what goes round must come round.......

At the RCIA course which I had been co-ordinating for more than a decade, I was once asked what Heaven was like. My answer was simple: All the good things from one’s life to the fullest possible are there, and for me I’m looking forward to meet with my favourite tenors (including my brother) who passed on and to sing with them and the choirs of angels.
